Multi-Screen Support
Core windows now have a multi-screen mode. This adds to the flexibility, with each window having the ability to float, be docked or moved across different screens to suit your exact workflow.
Improved Docking Support
The docks have been improved to enable more fold and resize options. You also have an additional dock on the left hand side and integrated layering controls on the headers.
Docking enabled on iPad
Docking features are now available on iPads, enabling you to access more functionality, even where the screen real-estate is limited.
Mobile First
We have made extensive enhancements for a more mobile friendly experience, preserving access to much of the vast and expansive range of features. You will see more collapsible sections across all units with more accessible layouts and touch-friendly controls.

You now have the ability to create virtually unlimited FX pipelines within each pattern, across the different units. We now optimise these so you can do much much more.
Auto-Freeze
The core innovation in this latest release is the auto-freeze mechanism. The studio continuously scans and finds areas where sounds within your workflow can be optimised to audio and dynamically translates between audio and midi. In almost all cases, you will be unaware this is occurring, but you do have full control over this feature should you need it.
New FX Units
Shimmer
A beautifully crafted and easy to use unit that will add instant shimmer and bloom to your sounds. With dynamic sensitivity controls, you can select the thresholds to curate the parts of your sound that you want to shape.
Echo
Reverb, Delay, Saturation and Stereo Widener fused into a spacious soundscape. Add instant width, volume and grit to your sounds.
Rack Presets
You now have a whole new world of FX Rack Presets to explore. Context-sensitive and one-click operations let you setup complex FX pipelines to handle different sound shaping tasks. Whether you are sculpting sounds, restoring, mastering or simply looking for creative effects, there is a rack that will add that wow factor. New Synths
MONO
We have introduced two brand new synths, MONO and G-TABLE. MONO provides those rich and phat sounds, which you can still wrap within LOCKDOWN's 32-voice poly play architecture.
G-TABLE
This unique and innovative synth opens up a whole new world of sounds. It fuses wavetable synthesis and granular synthesis, together with genre-specific sample generators. Arm it with any sample and explore the amazing tapestry of sounds.
You can generate G-TABLE patches or simply drop any audio fragment and explore G-TABLE's creations.
New Look Padlock
The Padlock is now more powerful and flexible than ever before. Whether you are looking for inspiration with your arrangements or using it for your performances, the Padlock now has a new architecture that lets you sample and layer any midi or audio patterns from across the different audio units.
Independent Sequencer
The Padlock now has an Independent sequencer, that is sync’d with the master sequencer. You can therefore layer it with the Drummer, Player and Slicer for new ideas.
More controlled reset and pad population features
You can use the one-click population mechanism to pre-populate the Padlock with patterns from across the different units.
In-place pads selection from across different units
Context-sensitive areas are dedicated to the different units and you can now simply click and select patterns from the different units. You can still drag and drop patterns onto Padlock pads.
Each pad now has independent volume controls.
Each pad now also has a complete dedicated FX Rack.
Genres
LOCKDOWN is now genre-aware. It adapts the studio based on the selected genre. You can fine-tune this feature and you have 30+ genres to choose from.

Better Transient and sound shaping for drum samples
Simply drop any sample onto any drum and the Drummer will perform a range of operations to trim, shape, fade and identify the core parts of your samples.
Auto Drum Mixer
Want to balance your drums without the endless-tweaking of sliders and knobs? The Drummer can now auto mix and balance your drum patterns. With automatic level detection and mix algorithms, you can get rocking quicker than ever before.
Pattern Variations
You can now create your drop and let the Drummer create variations of that pattern at the click of a button. Time-saving and inspirational.
You now have more drum sample categories for common drum types, separated from the instrument lists.
PlayPad
What can we say about this? The PlayPad lets you ‘touch and feel’ your way to some amazing sounds. The PlayPad is a quantised, touch-enabled, grid that lets you explore any sound that’s cross-matched with notes at different octaves. It is also locked to scale, allowing you to simply glide around, with no musical knowledge required.
Visualiser - Advanced Settings
The Visualiser now has a range of fine-tuning parameters that are accessible from the Advanced Settings panel. You can use this panel to set different view modes, reflections and also access a range of image manipulation features for the cover art.
You now also have a range of pre-defined export sizes for videos and still images. Create animated renditions of your audio with a single-click, adapted to your own cover art
Master Sequencer Enhancements
You can now drag and drop samples directly onto the master sequencer and they will be automatically added to your collections of samples in the Slicer.
Track-based record option
You can also start recording directly onto sequencer tracks without using the recorder and sample browser combination.
Enhanced Notes Editor
You will notice some nice usability touches to the Notes Editor.
